Guwahati: An Air India plane carrying around 240 Indians from Ukraine landed at the Delhi airport at around 11.40 pm on Tuesday.
In the midst of escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia, Air India used a Boeing 787 to transport Indians back to the country in eastern Europe.

“I am pleased to be back in my country,” Anil Rapriya, 22, said after arriving at the airport from Ukraine. In Kharkiv city, he is a fourth-year MBBS student at Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU).
“I recently relocated to India after the Indian Embassy requested that we leave the nation due to the deteriorating scenario in Ukraine,” he explained.
Reports claimed that his family lives in Nangloi in Delhi.
It may be mentioned that Anil went to Ukraine in 2018 for his MBBS course.
