Indian Air Force Cadet Found Dead, 6 Officers Charged with Murder

Guwahati: A total of six Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel has prompted charges against a trainee cadet’s murder in Bengaluru.

The death of the cadet who was discovered hanging at the Air Force Technical College (AFTC) has given rise to a court of inquiry.

The deceased have been identified as Ankit Kumar Jha .

According to a police officer in Bengaluru, the IAF officers were charged after Jha’s brother filed a complaint.

According to the Karnataka police who had been looking into the issue suspected that Jha had died four to five days ago.

At the Gangammana Gudi police station on September 24, the police filed a case against six police personnel based on his brother’s accusation.

The officer stated, “The IAF has guaranteed us of every support, however the officers against whom the complaint was made have not been arrested.”

In order to move the inquiry further, he noted that they are awaiting the postmortem report.
