Guwahati: An Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in the snow-bound area of the Gurez sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
The helicopter crashed in the Baraum area of Gurez sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per reports, the incident occurred in the Bandipore district. The location is near to the Line of Control with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, a search and rescue mission has been launched for the pilot and co-pilot are believed to have ejected safely, although army officials have yet to respond.
