Indian Army Hosts Awareness Lecture on Social Justice at Mongkot Chepu, Manipur

Imphal: The Indian Army organized an insightful awareness lecture on social justice at Indira Gandhi Hill Flower School in Mongkot Chepu, Ukhrul district, Manipur.

The session, which focused on the principles of equality and fairness, was attended by over 50 students from classes 8 to 10.

The interactive discussion aimed to instill the importance of social justice in creating a fair and just society. Students were encouraged to engage with Army personnel on key topics related to rights, fairness, and social responsibility.

Following the lecture, a medical team conducted health screenings for the students, checking vital signs and distributing essential medicines. This dual approach—combining education with health—ensured that students remained both informed and in good health, enhancing their motivation for learning.

The event is part of the Indian Army’s broader efforts to support communities in need, promoting peace, justice, and overall development through educational and healthcare initiatives.
