Indian Coast Guard Apprehends Pakistani Boat with Crew Members
Guwahati: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) arrested 10 Pakistani nationals from the Arabian Sea off the Gujarat coast late on Saturday.
According to reports, all of them were on board the Pakistani boat ‘Yasin,’ which ICGS Ankit discovered travelling 6-7 miles inside Indian waters. After witnessing the Coast Guard ship approaching, the boat attempted to flee the situation.
However, 2 tonnes of fish and 600 gallons of fuel have been salvaged thus so far.
ICG authorities stated more checks will be taken out after the boat arrived in Porbandar for further interrogation.
