Goa is all set to become the first state in India to launch a green energy project to power rural households and agriculture in the state.
On Tuesday, the Goa government and Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start the affordable green energy project. EESL is a joint venture of the various public sector undertakings under the ministry of power.
