India’s Parul Singh a Shining Star at Miss Ocean World 2025
Jaipur: India has once again made a mark on the international stage, with Parul Singh securing the first runner-up position at the prestigious Miss Ocean World 2025 pageant.
The nine-day competition, held at Grassfield Valley on Delhi Road, brought together 20 global contestants for a contest that beautifully blended beauty with a purpose. Singh’s stellar performance highlighted India’s consistent excellence in global beauty competitions, where participants are judged not just on their looks but also on their commitment to social causes.
The pageant’s core theme, “Clean and Pollution-Free Oceans,” saw contestants use their platforms to champion marine conservation, a cause that resonates globally.
South Sudan’s Evelyn Neem Mohammad Saleh took home the coveted crown, impressing the jury with her powerful environmental advocacy and commanding stage presence. The top spots were a truly global affair, with Nicole Slinkova of the Czech Republic named second runner-up, while Japan’s Kurara Shigeta and Poland’s Angelika Magdalena Feicht claimed the third and fourth runner-up positions respectively.
The competition rounds included evening gown, swimsuit, and a critical environmental advocacy session, where the young women discussed pressing challenges facing the world’s oceans.
Yogesh Mishra, the visionary founder-director of the organising body Fusion Group, expressed his pride at hosting such an esteemed international event in Rajasthan. The finale was graced by a distinguished guest list, including Dr. Jagdish Chandra from Bharat 24, BJP leader Pt. Suresh Mishra, and philanthropist Kandaktala Siddu Reddy, underscoring the event’s national significance.
The judging panel comprised luminaries from the beauty and social sectors, including former Miss Ocean World winner Alyssa Miskovska, Laura Hudson, Angul Zaripova, Dr. Aishwarya, Ekta Jain, Siddu Reddy, Rahul Taneja, and Divyanshi Bansal. The fashion designs by students of Kamla Poddar Institute added a touch of local talent to the international stage, with makeup by Jassi Chhabra of Shades Salon and choreography by Shahrukh Khan ensuring a world-class production.

Miss Ocean World is counted among the world’s top 10 international beauty competitions, attracting participants who are truly dedicated to marine conservation.
