Indigo Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Guwahati

Guwahati, 4 June: An Indigo flight with number 6E 2652 travelling from Chennai to Dibrugarh made an emergency landing in Guwahati on June 4 morning.

Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameshwar Teli, Terash Gowalla, MLA for Duliajan and Prashanta Phukan MLA for Dibrugarh were all on board flight 6E-2652 when it made the emergency landing at LGBI airport 12 minutes after takeoff.

The flight was supposed to land at Dibrugarh airport at 9.40 am.

According to reports, everyone on board the flight is secure.

Reportedly, Indigo flights 6E2652 (Ghy-Dib) and 6E 119 from Dibrugarh was cancelled on June 4 due to operational issues.

Meanwhile, a team from the technical section is working to locate and resolve the problem.

MLA Gowalla said, “IndiGo flight 6E2652 made an emergency landing at GNB International Airport after a technical glitch was reported in the plane. It was on way to Mohonbari (Dibrugarh) Airport today. I myself was on the flight with MoS Rameshwar Teli, MLA Prashanta Phukan. We are all safe now by the grace of God.”
