ISIS Operative Nabbed in Delhi

An ISIS operative has been detained with IED’s after an encounter in national capital Delhi. A suspected operative of  ISIS terror group was arrested by the special cell of Delhi Police on Friday. The ISIS operative is identified as Abdul Yusuf Khan, native to Uttar Pradesh. The Police have recovered two IEDs from the operative.

The Police had received information regarding  Abdul Yusuf Khan’s movement in Dhaula Kuan and Karol Bagh, following which they laided a trap and eventually nabbed the ISIS operative. The deputy commissioner of police (special cell) , Pramod Kuswaha said that ‘There was an exchange of fire after which he was arrested. He was a lone wolf who had planned an attack in the national capital. We have recovered a pistol and two IEDs from him. We will share more details during the day.’
