ISRO Chairman Dr. Sridhar Panikkar’s Visit to Guwahati Celebrated by Pragjyotishpur University

Guwahati, 17th January: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chairman, Dr. Sridhar Panikkar Somnath, along with the team of scientists behind the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon’s South Pole, is set to visit Guwahati at the invitation of Pragjyotishpur University today.

Pragjyotishpur University has organized a special welcome ceremony and interaction program with students to commemorate the achievements of ISRO, including the victorious Chandrayaan-3 mission and the recent solar mission, Aditya L-1. Dr. Yogesh Kakati, the Registrar of Pragjyotishpur University, shared this information and highlighted the significance of the event.

The welcome ceremony and interaction program, scheduled for 3:00 pm at the Srimanta Sankaradev International Auditorium in Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra, will provide an opportunity for higher secondary final year and final year graduation students to engage with Dr. Sridhar Panikkar and the team of scientists. The program will commence with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by floral tributes to the statue of the esteemed artist Jyoti Prasad Agarwala in honor of Shilpi Diwas.

Sailendra Pandey and Lalji Sonari, representing the organizing team and media architects of ‘SERF,’ extended invitations to all interested students and individuals to attend this significant event.
