ISRO’s Pragyan Rover Module in ‘Sleep Mode’ After Successful Lunar Mission; Awaits Reactivation

National Desk, 3rd September: The Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) announced on Saturday that the Pragyan Rover module, which was part of the Vikram lander mission, has been transitioned into a ‘sleep mode’ after successfully accomplishing its assigned tasks on the lunar surface.

ISRO further disclosed that the next lunar sunrise is expected on September 22, 2023, and the organization is optimistic about reactivating the rover for a new series of missions.
