The institute, already vulnerable due to annual soil erosion and rising water levels, now faces an escalating crisis.
- Residential Quarters: One Type 3 residential quarter has already been washed away, with two Type 2 quarters on the brink of collapse.
- Hostel and Barracks: The boys’ hostel and three bachelor’s barracks, situated near the riverbank, are under serious risk of inundation.
The entire ITI compound is perilously close to submersion and further erosion, necessitating immediate and decisive action from authorities to avert additional damage and ensure the safety of students and staff.
