Jacqueline Fernandez’s Interim Bail Plea Extended till Nov 15

Guwahati: Jacqueline Fernandez’s interim bail request in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar has been extended to November 15 (Tuesday).

The Patiala House Court in Delhi had reserved its decision after hearing the arguments on Thursday, and it issued the specifics on Friday.

Special judge Shailendra Malik reserved his decision regarding Jacqueline Fernandez’s bail request after hearing the arguments made by the attorneys for both parties.

The matter has been scheduled for hearings on the charges on November 24 and 25 by the court.

Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez was named as an offender in a supplemental chargesheet submitted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on August 17, 2022, in the Rs 200 crore extortion case against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar in a Delhi Court.

The ED has also called Jacqueline Fernandez into question numerous times in order to conduct an inquiry.

The ED reportedly objected to the actress’ bail request, claiming that Jacqueline could leave the country to avoid the inquiry.
