Jagat Prakash Nadda Named Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha
National Desk, 27th June: On the opening day of the 264th session of the Rajya Sabha on June 27, Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda was appointed as the Leader of the House.
The announcement, met with applause from attending members, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was made by Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Nadda’s new role marks a significant responsibility in the parliamentary proceedings of the Upper House. Prime Minister Modi, along with several ministers and MPs, attended the announcement, highlighting the government’s backing and endorsement of Nadda’s elevated position in parliamentary affairs.
