Guwahati: A terrorist from the banned group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) who had thrown a grenade in Shopian was arrested by Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday.
The terrorist who lobbed a grenade into Herman which resulted in killing two labourers has been identified as Bashir Ganie
The two workers, identified as Monish Kumar and Ram Sagar residents of Uttar Pradesh who suffered severe injuries and rushed to the hospital where they succumbed.
The Kashmir Zone Police taking to Twitter said, “#Terrorist lobbed hand grenade in Harmen #Shopian in which two labourers from UP namely Monish Kumar & Ram Sagar, both residents of Kanooj, UP got injured. They were shifted to hospital where they succumbed. Area cordoned off.”
