J&K: Three terrorists killed in encounter in Budgam

Guwahati: At least three terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

According to reports, a joint team of police and security forces launched a search operation at Zolwa Kralpora Chadoora area in Budgam district on Friday morning which turned into an encounter, and in the exchange of firing three terrorists were killed. The terrorists were suspected to be members of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).

Apart from this the security personnel further recovered three Ak 56 rifles and other incriminating materials were recovered from their possession.

Sharing the information on the Twitter handle on Friday said, “All the 03 killed #terrorists affiliated with terror outfit JeM. So far one identified as Waseem of #Srinagar City. 3 AK 56 rifles were recovered. After the killing of Waseem only 1 terrorist is a Srinagar resident: IGP Kashmir@ JmuKmrPolice.”
