Agartala: Agartala witnessed a surge of political fervor as Union Health and Family Welfare Minister and BJP National President, JP Nadda, descended upon Swami Vivekanand Maidan on March 9th.
The purpose: to commemorate the second anniversary of the BJP-led government’s current term in Tripura, a milestone celebrated with a massive public gathering.
The arrival of Nadda at MBB Airport was met with a warm reception, orchestrated by key figures of the state’s political landscape.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya, and Lok Sabha MP Kriti Singh Debbarma were present to extend their welcome, signaling the significance of the event.
The rally served as a platform to showcase the accomplishments of the BJP’s governance over the preceding two years. The party aimed to present a detailed account of their initiatives and progress to the assembled public.
The Swami Vivekananda ground became the focal point of the anniversary celebration, hosting a grand public meeting. “The BJP national president and Union Health Minister J P Nadda, and Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, will address the rally along with other leaders,” confirmed a party spokesperson, highlighting the event’s high-profile nature.
The presentation of the government’s two-year achievements formed a central part of the rally’s agenda. The BJP aimed to communicate its successes and initiatives directly to the citizens of Tripura.
To ensure the event’s success, a comprehensive organizational structure was established. “A nine-member committee headed by the senior minister Ratan Lal Nath has been constituted to organise the mega rally successfully. Ministers, MLAs and other leaders are working in their areas to make the rally a grand success,” stated Bhattacharjee, emphasizing the collaborative effort behind the celebratory gathering.
