Juice Stall Owner Mohammed Aashiq from Mangalore Clinches MasterChef India 2023 Title
Entertainment Desk, 9th December: The renowned Indian cooking show MasterChef concluded its thrilling eight-week run, with Mohammed Aashiq emerging as the winner. Guided by mentors Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Pooja Dhingra, the 24-year-old contestant secured victory, claiming the prestigious trophy, a chef’s coat, and a substantial cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
On social media, Judge Ranveer Brar extended his congratulations to Mohammed Ashiq, praising his unwavering determination throughout the inspirational and challenging journey. Brar’s heartfelt message read, “From an inspirational start to a challenging journey, you never stopped daring for more. Congratulations on becoming the MasterChef Mohd. Ashiq!”
The finale showcased intense competition among Aashiq, Rukhsaar Sayeed, Nambie Jessica, and Suraj Thapa. In a press statement, Aashiq expressed gratitude and excitement, reflecting on his transformative journey on the show and its profound impact on his life. He acknowledged the unwavering support from the judges, fellow contestants, and the enthusiastic audience.
Originally hailing from Mangalore, Karnataka, Aashiq is the owner of a juice shop named Kulukki Hub in his village. His culinary passion and unique skills not only earned him the MasterChef title but also played a pivotal role in supporting his family.
