Guwahati: Bhuban Badyakar, the voice behind the viral song ‘Kacha Badam’ has been admitted to hospital after he met with an accident on Monday.
According to reports, the incident took place while he was learning to drive his second-hand car near his home in Birbhum district’s Dubrajpur in West Bengal.
Reports claimed the Kacha Badam fame sustained injuries on his chest and head. However, he was immediately rushed to the Super Speciality Hospital for treatment.
It may be mentioned that Bhuban earned overnight fame after his song Kacha Badam went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, Badyakar revealed in an interview that he had composed the song to attract buyers as he travelled to different villages in the Birbhum district selling peanuts.
His song was later remixed and uploaded on YouTube which has over 50 million views.
