Kangana Ranaut Starts Shooting for ‘Emergency’ in Assam
Guwahati: Actress Kangana Ranaut has begun filming for her upcoming movie, “Emergency” in Assam.
Ranaut recently travelled to the state in search of filming locations, stopping at places like Kaziranga and Karbi Anglong.
The performer shared a photo from the set of the movie on her Instagram Stories along with the caption, “OK, let’s get started. Assam schedule to begin… emergency “
The film Emergency, written and directed by Ranaut is marketed as the account of a turning point in Indian political history. In the next movie, she also acts as the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Along with Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman, the film also stars veteran actor Anupam Kher as author and cultural activist Pupul Jayakar, Shreyas Talpade as former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Anupam Kher as revolutionary leader J P Narayan.
