Guwahati: Kangana Ranaut announced her willingness to run for the Lok Sabha from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh in 2024 on Saturday.
The National Award-winning actress said that if the BJP offers her a ticket and the general public supports her, she is willing to enter politics.
Ranaut told Aaj Tak, “I will be quite open to various forms of participation. I want others also to come forward who are hard working.”
Speaking about the upcoming elections in the hill state, the actress said, “Himachal Pradesh won’t be fooled by the AAP’s empty promises. In Himachal, individuals use their own solar energy and cultivate their own veggies.”
