Kaziranga National Park’s Elephant Safari Resumed For Tourists

Guwahati: The Assam-based Kaziranga National Park (KNP), a World Heritage Site   resumed its elephant safari (November 2) on Wednesday.

For visitors to Kaziranga National Park, an elephant safari has begun in the western Bagori, Kaziranga, and Kohora ranges.

For the 2022–2023 season, the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR), famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, was opened to visitors on October 2.

One of the most popular wildlife vacation spots in India is the Kaziranga National Park.

Over 2400 one-horned rhinos, or roughly one-third of the world’s entire population, are found there.

Large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer are also found in the park.

The Kaziranga national park has great species variety and visibility and is situated on the periphery of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot.
