Khandu Pledges Educational Revolution, Infrastructure Boost for Arunachal Pradesh
Aalo, West Siang: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has outlined an ambitious plan to transform the state’s education sector and infrastructure. Speaking at a public meeting in Logum Jini near Aalo, Khandu assured the people of significant improvements in the coming years.
The Chief Minister revealed that the state government is conducting comprehensive reviews of the education system, with a focus on identifying and addressing key challenges. “We are committed to implementing 100% of the recommended reforms,” Khandu stated.
Prioritizing quality over quantity, Khandu emphasized the importance of upgrading inter-village schools with modern facilities and teaching methods. He also highlighted the potential of hydropower as a major revenue source for the state, with the central government approving a significant increase in Arunachal Pradesh’s equity share in hydroelectric projects.
Khandu’s visit to the region also included the inauguration of a multipurpose hall and a walkway along the Yomgo River. He further promised to expedite flood protection measures and improve healthcare facilities in the Mebo sub-division.
As the state gears up for a developmental surge, Khandu’s initiatives hold the promise of a brighter future for Arunachal Pradesh.
