Guwahati: A 40-year-old woman was allegedly killed by a miscreant and two others were injured during the attack in Dhubri district of Assam on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the Bilasipara town of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Manowara Khatun, a resident of Nayeralga Pt area.
According to reports, two others were left severely injured in the attack
Meanwhile, the two injured persons identified as Amiruddin and Saddakas Ali were rushed to a hospital in Guwahati.
Legal action has been initiated into the matter and further investigation is on to nab the culprit.
