King Khan Stopped By Customs Dept At Mumbai Airport Over Luxury Watches

Guwahati: The customs officials stopped Shah Rukh Khan and those with him for several hours because they had some expensive watches in their luggage at Mumbai Airport on Friday.

He reportedly arrived at Terminal 3 of the airport in a private plane while returning from Sharjah where he had attended an event.

Customs discovered the pricey watches in the luggage when the actor and those with him were exiting the terminal.

Shah Rukh had to pay a customs duty of Rs. 6.83 lakhs before being permitted to depart the airport.

He and his manager were permitted to depart, but other members of his entourage, such as his bodyguard, were only permitted to do so in the early morning.

It may be mentioned that the packaging of six luxury watches were also found in the baggage of Shah Rukh.
