Kolkata Police Investigates Ticket Black Marketing Allegations for India-South Africa World Cup Match
National Desk, 5th November: In response to allegations of ticket black marketing for the upcoming World Cup cricket match between India and South Africa at Eden Gardens, the Kolkata Police has taken action. They issued a notice to the BCCI president, Roger Binny, requesting information on ticket sales for the event.
The notice seeks relevant documents and information to assist in the investigation of complaints regarding ticket black marketing. To curb these illegal activities, 19 individuals have been arrested, 108 tickets seized, and seven cases registered by the Kolkata Police.
