Kuberaa Storms Box Office: Rs 50 Crore Mark Breached in Just Four Days

Mumbai – The much-anticipated film ‘Kuberaa’, starring the formidable duo of Dhanush and Nagarjuna, has set the box office ablaze, crossing the impressive Rs 50 crore nett mark domestically within a mere four days of its release. Directed by the acclaimed Sekhar Kammula, the movie, which hit screens on June 20, has raked in a substantial Rs 55.10 crore nett so far, signaling a strong start to its theatrical run.

The film’s swift financial success is largely propelled by its overwhelming reception in the Telugu-speaking regions, where it has witnessed robust collections. The Telugu version alone has garnered a staggering Rs 32.9 crore nett within its initial three days. In contrast, the Tamil version has shown a comparatively slower pace, collecting Rs 13.65 crore nett over the same period. Industry pundits are now closely monitoring ‘Kuberaa’s performance during the crucial weekdays to ascertain its long-term viability and potential to hit the Rs 100 crore worldwide milestone within its opening week.

Despite a noticeable dip in earnings on Monday, which saw the film collect Rs 6.50 crore in India, the figures remain well within anticipated trends for a weekday following a strong opening weekend. The day-wise breakdown of ‘Kuberaa’s domestic collections paints a picture of escalating momentum over the weekend: Day 1 fetched Rs 14.75 crore, followed by Rs 16.5 crore on Day 2, and a peak of Rs 17.35 crore on Day 3. The ability of the film, produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations, to maintain steady footfall through the week will be key to its overall profitability.

Beyond the star power of Dhanush and Nagarjuna, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Jim Sarbh, Rashmika Mandanna, and Dalip Tahil in pivotal supporting roles. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, and editing by Karthik Srinivas, ‘Kuberaa’ has clearly resonated with audiences, particularly in the Telugu market, which continues to be the primary driver of its commercial triumph. As the film progresses through its theatrical journey, all eyes will be on its sustained performance and its potential to emerge as a major commercial success.
