Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a labourer died after he fell off an apartment building in Lachit Nagar area of Guwahati on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Bhola.
According to reports, Bhola allegedly fallen from Jagannath apartment’s third story.
It is suspected that the labourer might have tripped and fell while working on scaffolding, however, the exact cause of his fall is yet to be established.
According to reports, the labourer was employed at a residence owned by Mahadev Deka’s brother, a skilled body builder.
The owner of the apartment has not yet responded to this.
The labourer was rushed to Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) immediately after the incident but was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
