Last remaining KNLA rebels surrender
Guwahati: The last remaining cadres of the Kuki National Liberation Army (KNLA) have finally surrendered in Assam’s Karbi Anglong.
After their surrender, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet stated, “Under the guidance of Adarniya PM

As per a press statement, a total of 27 cadres surrendered handing over 17 weapons. Among the surrendered weapons, there were at least four assault rifles including one Heckler and Koch rifle. Apart from these, six country-made pistols were also handed over by the surrendered militants.
