Lata Mangeshkar once again on ventilator support
Guwahati: Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s health has reportedly deteriorated once more after recuperating from COVID-19 and pneumonia.
According to reports, Mangeshkar is currently in the ICU and has been placed on ventilator support due to her deteriorating condition, for which she will be monitored.
Following her diagnosis, she was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on January 8.
However, on January 30 she was free of COVID-19 and pneumonia.
The iconic singer was recently taken off the ventilator after showing signs of progress, but her health has suddenly deteriorated once more.
The iconic singer is affectionately known as the ‘Nightingale of India,’ has recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films and sung countless tracks in several Indian and international languages.
Mangeshkar, one of India’s most famous vocalists was awarded the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian honour in 2001.
