Imphal: In a significant move, Conrad K Sangma, the National President of the National People’s Party (NPP), has appointed former Deputy Chief Minister Yumnam Joykumar as the interim president of NPP’s Manipur state unit. This decision follows the sudden demise of N Kayisii, the previous president.
Sheikh Noorul Hassan, the MLA of Kshetrigao AC, has been appointed as the working president of the party in Manipur. The reshuffle aims to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and ensure continuity in its political activities within the region.
The leadership changes were officially announced through a press release by Yumnam Joykumar, highlighting the party’s commitment to maintaining its political momentum despite the loss of its former leader.
