Guwahati: A leopard assaulted a woman in Golaghat’s Furkating tea estate on Sunday early in the morning.
According to reports, the leopard attacked the woman while she was collecting firewood in the centre of the tea estate.
Reportedly, the victim have been identified as Bhoni Mirdha.
The woman was admitted to Golaghat’s Shaheed Kushal Konwar Public Hospital.
However, Forest Department personnel arrived on the spot immediately after the incident.
