Guwahati: A leopard cub was rescued from a house in Guwahati on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the cub entered Ashutosh Pal’s home in Maligaon’s Krishna Nagar.
Pal quickly notified the police about the incident after discovering the leopard cub at their home.
The calf was saved by Goshala Police after they move to the scene.
The residents claimed that previously they had also seen him wandering around freely.
The police gave the cub to the forest service after saving it.
It should be noted that there have been recent reports of leopards entering residential areas.
According to reports, the leopards also attacked the individuals badly injuring them. Few of them died as a result of the wounds.
The majority of these accidents were recorded in December 2022.
