Guwahati: A woman allegedly attempted self-immolation outside the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Lucknow on Friday.
The woman is a resident of Gosaingaj.
According to reports, the woman who attempted to light herself on fire was stopped by the officers on duty outside.
The woman said that the local police incarcerated her son violently.
“My kid is completely innocent, but the police have forcibly imprisoned him,” she stated, explaining why she took such drastic measures.
