Madhya Pradesh: Trainer Aircraft Crashes in Guna, Injuring Woman Pilot

National Desk, 6th March: A trainer aircraft crashed in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, injuring a female pilot. Departing from Neemuch, approximately 250 km away, the flight encountered engine problems, suspected to be the cause of the accident, according to officials.

The injured pilot is currently receiving treatment at Guna’s district hospital. Guna Sub Inspector Chanchal Tiwari reported that the single-engine Cessna 172, owned by Dhana-based Chimes Aviation Academy, experienced a malfunction while passing over Guna.

Seeking permission to land at the Guna airstrip, the trainee pilot encountered difficulties during the landing process. Subsequently, the aircraft lost control, crashing into nearby bushes. The impact severely damaged the plane, causing petrol to leak from the wreckage.
