Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Appointed Guardian Minister for Pune District

National Desk, 5th October: In a recent development, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been assigned the role of Guardian Minister for Pune district. This appointment is part of the state government’s efforts to oversee the implementation of government policies and schemes at the district level.

A total of 12 ministers have been designated as Guardian Ministers for different districts in Maharashtra. Sudhir Mungantiwar will take charge of Wardha, and Chandrakant Patil, a senior BJP leader, will oversee Solapur and Amaravati districts.

The role of Guardian Ministers involves ensuring the effective execution of government initiatives and managing District Planning and Development Committee (DPDC) funds allocated for development projects in their respective districts. It’s worth noting that several NCP ministers have been appointed as Guardian Ministers in this latest round of assignments.
