Maharashtra State Cabinet Expansion After July 13

Guwahati: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will decide whether to expand the cabinet after July 13.

This was informed by rebel Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar.

Since some of our MLAs and BJP MLAs would be in Delhi for a conference regarding the approaching Presidential election, there is no likelihood of the cabinet being expanded before July 13, according to Kesarkar.

On Friday, Uddav Thackeray, a former chief minister of Maharashtra, requested midterm elections and said that, despite the dissident Sena faction’s claim to the party’s “bow and arrow” symbol, nobody could take it away.

Kesarkar discussed this and remarked, “It is really a political ploy (by the Uddhav faction). The Maharashtra Assembly is overwhelmingly in favour of us. In Maharashtra, a recent government was established by the majority.”

In the meantime, Thackeray challenged the BJP and the rebels, led by the new chief minister Eknath Shinde, to participate in mid-term elections.

Speaking to reporters at his Bandra suburb home, “Matoshree,” Thackeray challenged the BJP and the Shine rebels to run in midterm elections, saying that the public should be given the opportunity to voice their opinions on the overthrow of the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, which he led.

On July 30, Eknath Shinde took his oath of office as the new chief minister of Maharashtra. As the government’s deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis took the oath of office. At Raj Bhavan, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari gave them the oath of office.
