Guwahati, 5th August: In a much-needed relief for commuters in Guwahati, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that the Maligaon Flyover will be inaugurated on August 28. The announcement was made during an event at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
The construction of the flyover has caused significant traffic congestion for commuters in Guwahati and has affected the residents of Maligaon and nearby areas. Additionally, the ongoing construction works have led to major accidents in the area.
With the forthcoming inauguration of the Maligaon Flyover, it is expected to significantly ease traffic woes and enhance transportation efficiency for the people of Guwahati.
