Guwahati: One person has been arrested in connection with a robbery incident that took place in a mosque.
The incident occurred in a mosque of Garaimara in South Kamrup.
Reports claim that the burglars broke the alms box’s lock after entering the mosque.
Fortunately, those who were on-site at the time of the occurrence were able to stop the robber as he attempted to depart with the money.
After that, the cops received the thief.
The thief was beaten up by the villagers before being apprehended.
