Guwahati: In yet another incident of patricide, a man allegedly killed his own father in Chirang district of Assam on Tuesday night.
The incident took place in the Bijni town of the district.
According to reports, the accused son has been identified as Pabitra Sarkar was allegedly inebriated at the time of the crime.
The deceased father identified as 80-year-old Amritlal Sarkar.
Meanwhile, Pabitra has been arrested and a case has been filed against him.
