Guwahati: One person has been arrested by a team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB) PS with suspected WY Tablets in Imphal West of Manipur on Saturday.
The person has been identified as Henjakhup Kipgen, a resident of the Kangpokpi district.
According to reports, the man was detained at Canchipur, Imphal West along the national highway.
During the search operation, the team recovered 70,000 suspected WY Tablets weighing 7.981 kgs.
Reportedly, Kipgen had hidden the tablets inside his car.
It may be mentioned that the drugs were procured from Moreh in the Manipur Myanmar border and it was meant to be transported to other states.
