Guwahati: One person has been arrested with several fake identity cards in Nagaon district of Assam.
The accused identified as Abu Salma.
According to reports, Salma was arrested during a routine check in the Haibogaon Town Outpost while he was travelling on a Tata Tiago.
According to officials, the Aadhar cards were manufactured with different IDs, names, and residences during the investigation.
The officials further recovered ten fake sim cards, five fake Aadhar cards, five fake PAN cards and four mobile phones from his possession.
It may be mentioned that the addresses were from places like Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities, but the photos on the cards were all the same.
