Guwahati, 13th August: In a tragic incident that unfolded at Bamungaon in Assam’s Lanka, a man met a fatal fate as he was brutally beaten on suspicion of theft. The unfortunate incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday.
The victim, identified as Hipzur Rahman, fell victim to the merciless attack. Responding swiftly, the police have taken action and apprehended six individuals believed to be involved in the horrifying incident.
Among those taken into custody are Sanjay Das, Nikhil Das, Tulendra Das, Uttam Chakraborty, Jayanta Chakraborty, and Sandhu Mazumdar.
