Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a man was arrested in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh on suspicion of murdering his two-year-old kid.
According to reports, the incident was late on Sunday from the Jung Kharsa area.
The accused have been identified as Ashok Kumar who owns a food store on Brigade Road not far from the Tri-junction.
Information indicates that after committing the crime Kumar fled prompting authorities to alert all checkpoints.
Kumar was caught from an under construction house where he had been hiding from the police.
The chairwoman of Kharsa village Yeshi Phunstok who knew about the incident via a numerous news report, provided the tip.
Further investigation is underway.
