Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a person was severely injured after he was shot by criminals on Saturday night in the Jorhat district of Assam.
The incident occurred at a truck stand near Marwari Patti on AT Road.
As per reports, the two criminals shot the victim in the left leg.
Reportedly, the police have arrested one of the two miscreants. The other, on the other hand was able to escape and is still running.
Meanwhile, the police also found other firearms including the pistol that was used during firing.
According to reports, the thieves came with the intention of robbing a commercial property.
The injured person is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
