Guwahati: A 60-year-old man was killed after a one-horned rhinoceros attacked him at Bokakhat district of Assam on Sunday.
The incident occurred near the Sohola forest camp in Kuruabahi of the district.
The victim has been identified as Tarsan Choudhury.
According to reports, Choudhury was attacked by the rhino while he was working in his agricultural field.
Meanwhile, the officials of the forest camp and administration have arrived at the spot to conduct an enquiry into the tragic incident.
