Guwahati: A man has been allegedly killed after being hit by a train in Tinsukia district of Assam on Saturday.
The incident took place at the Ramanagar locality in Digboi town of the district.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, it has been suspected that the man was crossing the railway track when the train hit him.
Meanwhile, the train carrying crude oil was heading towards Digboi from Tinsukia.
However, identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Police reached the site and sent the body for post-mortem reports.
