Guwahati: In a sensational incident, a man was arrested for allegedly killing his son in Charaideo district of Assam.
The incident took place at Aeideobari tea estate in Sonari area.
The accused father identified as Jagannath Gowala.
According to reports, Jagannath allegedly murdered his ailing son and dumped his body in the Teok River.
The deceased son has been identified as Naresh Gowala.
Reports further claimed that the accused killed his son since he had been sick for a long time.
Meanwhile, the accused father has been apprehended by police.
Police officials informed that the body of the son is yet to be recovered
It needs to mentioned that the efforts are on to trace it, police added.
