Guwahati: A middle-aged man tragically lost his life after being hit by a speeding train at Rupohihat on Saturday morning in Nagaon district of Assam.
The incident was reported in Rowmari area of Rupohihat.
According to reports, the man was hit by a train headed for Guwahati as he crossed the tracks.
The deceased’s identification has not yet been determined.
Meanwhile, local police arrived at the scene and recovered the body for post-mortem.
