Man Stabbed over Petty Quarrel in Guwahati
Guwahati: Number of murders are continuously rising in Guwahati. In another incident of crime, a commercial vehicle driver stabbed the handyman over a petty dispute over a petty dispute in Guwahati on Tuesday.
According to reports, the incident took place at Beharbari under Basistha police station.
The driver identified as Sanjiv Bora reportedly stated that he stabbed the handyman Bokul Medhi for abusing him verbally after a fight between the two.
The handyman who was stabbed, on the other hand, was sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to Dimpal Gayari, officer-in-charge of the Basistha PS, no case has been registered in this regard.
Although the cause of the quarrel is unclear, eyewitnesses allege that the fight began over a passenger.
It is to be noted that the rate of crime has decreased in recent years. Three murders have been reported in different regions of the city in the last 48 hours. There has also been an increase in robberies in Guwahati.
In addition, another body was discovered in Madhabpur, Basistha. The body was discovered in an enigmatic state.
The body of the deceased has been identified as Prakash Sahani. His body was found hanging in a tree.
